"Fans of electronic rock have found their new heroes" Libération
Manchester quartet Working Men’s Club is back! Endorsed by Baxter Dury and Fat White Family, the band made waves in 2020 with a stunningly accomplished self-titled debut album, an explosive cocktail of abrasive punk rock infused with acid house, a legacy of Factory Records. They return with a highly anticipated second album titled Fear Fear – an event due for release on July 15 via Heavenly Recordings/[PIAS]. The tracks for this new project were matured during the pandemic and fueled by the feelings of rage and isolation that ensued. Fear Fear is an album that takes us straight back to the Hacienda's heyday in Manchester, designed above all for moving and dancing, and once again creates a unique bridge between two musical worlds: electronic and indie psyche.
