Born in Moscow, she studied at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and then at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Mikhail Voskresensky. Later, she moved to Hamburg to continue her studies with Evgeni Koroliov. In 2006, she was awarded at the International Bach Competition in Leipzig, and in 2012 she won the first prize at the Géza Anda Competition in Zurich, which definitively launched her career.
