The first official release of this legendary concert organized by the founder of Black Lion Records, Alan Bates, and considered one of the greatest live performances of Wes Montgomery, is presented in partnership with the National Audiovisual Institute (INA) with high-definition sound transferred directly from the original analog tapes. During this performance, Wes Montgomery is accompanied by a true "All Star Band" composed of pianist Harold Mabern, bassist Arthur Harper, drummer Jimmy Lovelace, and tenor saxophonist Johnny Griffin as a special guest on certain tracks.
