Ward Thomas is an English Country Pop duo made up of 2 twin sisters aged 22. Their 2nd album "Cartwheels" surprisingly topped the UK sales charts, thanks to the single "Carry You Home," and since then they have been filling concert halls in England where their sets create moments of pure fervor from their audience. The duo recently performed at Hyde Park in front of, excuse the understatement, 55,000 spectators... "Cartwheels" was written two years ago during a session in Nashville during their 2014 tour for their 1st album "From Where We Stand," which also met unexpected success. The influences of Ward Thomas are largely inspired by Pop (Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, KT Tunstall, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift). Although they are fans of the Dixie Chicks and Kacey Musgraves, "Cartwheels" should not be considered a Country album. It is truly a Pop album alternating between almost Rock tracks and Country Pop ballads.
