HELP(2) is a brand-new collaborative album, inspired by the iconic 1995 release of 'HELP', bringing together music enthusiasts to support the crucial work of War Child, providing immediate humanitarian aid, access to education, specialised mental health support, and protection for children affected by conflicts worldwide. The new album, just like the original, addresses the urgency of the situation for 1 in 5 children globally living in a war zone. Recorded in one day, 'HELP' raised over £1.2 million, enabling the charity to provide vital aid to thousands of children during the Bosnian War, critically acclaimed as 'the best charity album ever made'. HELP(2) continues the spirit of the original 'HELP' album and came to fruition through close collaboration with Abbey Road Studios, almost entirely recorded during an extraordinary week in November 2025. Under the direction of James Ford as executive producer, HELP(2) brings together an impressive list of contributors, including Anna Calvi, Arctic Monkeys, Arlo Parks, Arooj Aftab, Bat For Lashes, Beabadoobee, Beck, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Black Country, New Road, Cameron Winter, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Dove Ellis, Ellie Roswell, English Teacher, Ezra Collective, Foals, Fontaines D.C., Graham Coxon, Greentea Peng, Grian Chatten, Kae Tempest, King Krule, Nilüfer Yanya, Olivia Rodrigo, Pulp, Sampha, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg, and Young Fathers… as well as many other musicians, engineers, mixers, and producers. In addition to this exceptional lineup of artists, director Jonathan Glazer and his team at Academy Films generously provided the creative direction for HELP(2), overseeing both the filming and the artistic direction of the project. All proceeds from the album will be donated to War Child UK to protect, educate, and advocate for the rights of children living amidst armed conflicts worldwide. HELP(2) aims to embody hope for children whose lives have been shattered by war. The album is a testament to the generosity of artists and the music industry, united in their desire to make a positive impact and help build a safer future for these children.
