Formed in Edinburgh in 2013 by Frenchman Victor Vicart and Scotsman Dudley Tait, post-metal prog-sludge artisans Dvne have been on the rise since their second album, Etemen Ænka, in 2021. In 2024, their third album Voidkind promises to propel this expanded five-member band to the pinnacle of their art. This new opus succeeds in finding new forms of expression for Dvne, with more direct and memorable songs, while retaining a hypnotic soundscape. With the addition of Maxime Keller on keyboards, Voidkind represents a remarkable evolution for the band.
