L'Enfer est pavé is Vlad's fifth album. The artist first composed alone in the mountains or abroad, then with his musicians. They then recorded in the studio down a dead end in the depths of Corrèze, and voilà! The album of the century! No, it's not the album of the century, but it's better than any of Gauvain Sers's. Having been on tour for a while, the band has been holding contests for the best truncated proverb, like "Chercher midi," "A chaque jour suffit," and "On ne fait pas d'omelette." And finally, "L'Enfer est pavé," seemed to them one of the best and, above all, it corresponded to what they went through during rehearsals and recordings, and perhaps also what humans are currently going through in an increasingly hazardous political and climatic context.
