On October 27, 1966, CBS aired a special ‘Peanuts’ episode for Halloween. This soundtrack, orchestrated by John Scott Trotter, is considered one of the pianist's most remarkable contributions to the series thanks to the definitive version of 'Linus and Lucy.' 'It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ remained unreleased for over 50 years before being reissued in 2018.
