In 2023, Véronique Sanson returned to the Palais des Sports for three sold-out nights — she who had been the first European woman to set foot on its stage (narrowly preceded by Aretha Franklin). If, in the meantime, the venue has changed its name (it is now called the Dôme de Paris), Véronique's eagerness to set it ablaze and the warmth of the audience remain intact. In a show lasting over two hours, surrounded by her faithful musicians, she revisits more than 20 tracks from her repertoire with generosity and above all that fierce appetite to make an entire venue vibrate to the sound of her unmistakable voice. The stage is her reason for living, and she proves it once again in this film that captures the entire concert. Screened during a single session in over 280 cinemas in September 2024, it attracted more than 20,000 spectators and is now available on DVD. The title of the tour, Hasta luego!, is that of a song co-written with Vianney, which they perform as a duo. Also noteworthy is the presence on stage of Zaz, Natalie Dessay, and Chris Stills, alone at the piano for one of his compositions. A moving and exhilarating show, a legendary concert.
