L'Orchestre Royal Philharmonique de Liverpool performs the spring in three of its symphonic forms, starting with the telluric version of The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky. At the head of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Vasili Petrenko has chosen to interpret three pieces with the common theme of Spring. Naturally, the masterful and stunning piece, The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky, takes the lead. Next will be Spring by Claude Debussy in the version orchestrated by Henri Büsser and finally the Spring Cantata by Rachmaninov.
