Description

The name and unique music of Vangelis are synonymous with some of the most iconic films of the last 35 years. A true pioneer of electronic music, the composer of the soundtracks of Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner returns with a brand new album, driven by his long-standing passion for space. This album was composed to musically accompany the Rosetta mission, the extraordinary and revolutionary project of the European Space Agency [ESA] which aimed to land, for the first time in history, a spacecraft on a comet. The astronauts of the mission are the dedicatees of this suite of interconnected music. The release of the album, which will take place on September 23, 2016, will mark the culmination of the 12-year mission!
