Recorded in Los Angeles, at the Sound Factory studio, with Paul Butler at the helm (leader of the English band The Bees and producer, among others, of Michael Kiwanuka and Devendra Banhart's first albums). Written and composed by Vanessa Paradis, Samuel Benchetrit, Fabio Viscogliosi and Adrien Gallo, this new album, with folk-rock and soul influences, marks Vanessa's return in great form. Sunny, with great artistic mastery, exploring dreams, memory and, of course, the feeling of love with a rare elegance, it is probably the most personal album the artist has ever recorded. Les Sources modestly and ambitiously invites us to journey to other places, other emotional territories, much to our delight. This new album will take Vanessa on tour in 2019. The first single, Ces mots simples, a declaration of love of extreme beauty, has been on the airwaves since September 14th.
