After the success of their last three albums and a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 2014, the band Vampire Weekend will release their fourth album Father of the Bride on May 3, 2019. As is often the case with Vampire Weekend, the title has multiple meanings, expressing a paradox unique to the band: songs that easily fit into any playlist – or radio, TV show, movie soundtrack – but reveal their complexity when listened to more attentively. Produced among others by Ariel Rechtshaid and Ezra Koenig, the album includes the single "Harmony Hall" as well as a collaboration with Steve Lacy from The Internet on the track "Sunflower." The album Father of the Bride will be available on CD, cassette, and vinyl.
