With “Coma To Coma,” United Waters continues even further on the path of the perfectly fused song. Chords drip and flow into each other at a pace equal to that of honey at 35 degrees Fahrenheit. It is this viscosity that distinguishes United Waters from any other group that engages in song. This is achieved not through the latest pedals or computer effects, but by playing slightly outside of this dimension. It's as if the band discovers one of those theoretical multiverses, one perhaps named “All Things Are Sticky,” and slips between here and there to write their music. It is a completely unique sound, yet one you knew existed without ever having heard it before.
