Mozart arias

Description

The Swiss soprano Regula Mühlemann has been particularly noted for her Mozart performances in Baden Baden under the direction of Simon Rattle, in Zurich, in Geneva, at the Fenice in Venice, and at the Salzburg Festival. Her reputation quickly spread across Europe, which recognizes in her a splendid voice and exceptional musicality. She was heard in a small role in Weber's Freischütz (Ännchen), under the direction of Daniel Harding, broadcast from Switzerland on television and in cinemas. On Arte, she was also heard in the program "Stars of tomorrow," broadcast by ZDF as well. She is then preparing "Orfeo" by Glück, alongside Bejun Mehta, a production filmed in Prague, which will also be shown in cinemas. The program perfectly illustrates the course of her current career, with Mozart arias from "Finta Giardiniera," "Lucio Silla," "The Abduction from the Seraglio," "The Impresario," as well as the splendid "Exsultate jubilate"; she is here accompanied by the Basel Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli.
