{"product_id":"ulan-bator_ego-echo_2023_dif","title":"Ego: Echo","description":"\"Ego: Echo\" is the fourth album by the French post-rock band Ulan Bator. Produced by Michael Gira, formerly of the band Swans and head of Young God Records, it was originally released on CD in 2000. Remastered and re-released for the first time on double vinyl. \"One summer, in the midst of a heatwave, Ulan Bator and I (perfect strangers to one another at the time) locked ourselves into a tiny recording studio in a village just north of Florence, Italy, for 18 hours a day for three weeks. So, much (but certainly not all) of this music was written and\/or (re)arranged on the spot, as we worked, under increasingly intense pressure. The adrenaline, stress, heat, chaos, and panic, combined with the language barrier (they are French, the engineer was Italian), drove us to places we did not expect to find ourselves, which, for me, was incredibly exhilarating. In some cases, the basis of the song started with a simple groove, an electronic sound, a vocal idea, or an accidental noise, and eventually took the form of the final version you will hear on this CD (though other songs are rearranged versions of material they had already elaborated).\"","brand":"Ulan Bator","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55307653513560,"sku":null,"price":20230224.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/5055869591058_9f289da1-75c5-466a-bdbd-a914d2ff9db7.jpg?v=1760310800","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/ulan-bator_ego-echo_2023_dif","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
