Released in March 1987, this album propelled U2 to the status of international stars and permanently changed the band's standing. A huge success worldwide, the album has sold nearly 30 million copies.
Produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, recorded by Flood, Dave Meegan, and Pat McCarthy, and mixed by Steve Lillywhite, Mark Wallis, and Mark Kettle, the album contains some of the band's greatest songs: Where the Streets Have No Name, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, and With or Without You.
U2 will be on a world tour this summer, and the two dates at the Stade de France (July 25 and 26) are already sold out.
These new Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions, in addition to the original album, contain a concert at Madison Square Garden from 1987, remixes, B-Sides, and Outtakes.
