Mighty Music is proud to announce the release of "Electrifyed," the brand new studio album from NWOBHM pioneers, Tygers Of Pan Tang. This album marks the return of the legendary British heavy metal band to a heavier and more aggressive sound, while preserving the melodic identity that has defined the band throughout its celebrated career. "The heavier, the better," was our mantra during the writing and recording of "Electrifyed," comments singer Jack Meille about the creative process. "We wanted to rediscover the joy of being driven by the powerful force of a heavy riff without losing that melodic touch that all great Tygers songs possess." Written with a clear artistic vision from the start, "Electrifyed" draws inspiration from the raw energy of the band's early days, particularly their iconic album "Wild Cat," while showcasing the chemistry and creativity of the current lineup. The result is a collection of tracks built around powerful riffs, memorable melodies, and a renewed commitment to the heavy metal traditions that the band has helped establish. The album also features guitarist John Footitt for the first time on record. Joining founding member Robb Weir, Jack Meille, drummer Craig Ellis, and bassist Huw Holding, Footitt's skills blend seamlessly into the album's muscular and contemporary sound. To achieve the sonic impact envisioned by the band, Tygers Of Pan Tang worked closely with producer and musician Marco Angioni, a long-time friend and collaborator who helped translate the band's ambitions into a cohesive and powerful final product. The album cover has once again been entrusted to Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art, whose striking cover concept perfectly captures the spirit and energy of "Electrifyed."
