With Ty Segall, there's always more and more and more and more! Relatively quiet this year in terms of new releases, with mainly his double album Manipulator (and an imminent compilation) to his credit, the American is already moving on to new things in 2015 with the announced release of Live In San Francisco by the Ty Segall Band. An album recorded – you guessed it – live and in noisy California, where this whole scene emerged (Ty Segall, joined here by Mikal Cronin, Emily Rose Epstein, and Charles Moothart, the latter also playing in Fuzz). The album will be released by the iconic label Castle Face, notably run by John Dwyer (Thee Oh Sees), which has made a specialty of its perfectly engineered and generously documented live recordings.
