In their spectacular new recording to be released by Sony Classical, Two Steps From Hell: Live - An Epic Music Experience, composers and producers Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix revisit the "epic sound" that has become their trademark, for the first time accompanied by a large orchestra, a choir, and a rock band.
The full 28 tracks of Two Steps From Hell: Live - An Epic Music Experience will be released worldwide on November 4. The first single, "Flight of the Silverbird," will be available on September 9, when album pre-orders also begin. Three more singles will follow before the album's release.
After successful European performances this summer, including two sold-out dates at La Seine Musicale in Paris, the Two Steps From Hell: Live - An Epic Music Experience world tour will kick off in 2023, showcasing the music heard on the new recording of the same name.
One of the world's most popular orchestral music groups and at the forefront of the "epic sound," Two Steps From Hell has composed music for hit movie trailers (Avengers, X-Men, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones), TV series (Doctor Who, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead), and video games (Mass Effect, Resident Evil, League of Legends, Kill Zone) since Bergersen and Phoenix founded it in 2006. Two Steps From Hell: Live - An Epic Music Experience continues to build on the band's "epic" concept. All their most popular tracks are heard for the first time on the album in lavish new arrangements performed by a symphony orchestra, choir, and soloists (including social media star violinist Esther Abrami), as well as a rock instrumental ensemble.
In addition to its release on CD and vinyl, the album will be available worldwide for streaming and download, including in Sony 360 Reality Audio and Dolby Atmos formats.
