Tushen Raï, curator and insatiable digger, co-director of the HardFist Records label and programmer of Nuits Sonores, presents "DrumsCircle", his first solo EP on Cracki Records! A record deeply inspired by the Acid House of his mentors Andrew Weatherall and Optimo, built in collage form, where Maori percussion sampled from field recording records of the 60s and 70s cross paths with Indonesian chants from YouTube videos filmed on phones. Tushen Raï delivers with "Drums Circle" a versatile EP, where the organic sounds of the clarinet (performed by Baptiste André), Indian tablas or Brazilian Caxixi meet acid basslines from the TB-30, auto-tuned voices and synthetic drums from the TR-808.
