Tsew The Kid’s story is first and foremost one of colors. There's the yellow of the bush, seemingly rippling everywhere like an ocean, the green of the tall trees, good for caressing the rind of the sky here and there, and then the pink, too, of that fragrant garden visible from the family home's balcony.Although born in France, Tsew The Kid spent his childhood at the bottom of the world, on the vast island of Madagascar, where his parents are from. He arrived in France at age 7, settling in Essonne, where he learned to play guitar and piano. He writes, composes, and sings, aspiring to be a bit like Bruno Mars, a bit like The Weeknd.It was in the home studio set up in his garage that Tsew The Kid created his first freestyles, quickly noticed by the most influential accounts on social media. Navigating between Rap and RnB, his first mixtape, titled DIAVOLANA ("moonbeam" in Malagasy), was released in November 2019. Released digitally only, it amassed 20 million streams and 5 million views on YouTube.The physical edition of DIAVOLANA, announced for MARCH 27, 2020, includes 5 new tracks. It features collaborations with Georgio and Youv Dee, and production by Junior Alaprod, Twenty9, and others.Available as a standard CD, double vinyl, and a limited edition Box Set, including a collector's WOUNA T-shirt (size M) and a Diavolana pendant with silver finishes.
