Shadow Forms

Description

The superb second album by Trees Speak, 'Shadow Forms', is a blend of electronic instruments and 1970s 'motorik' Krautrock (think Harmonia, Can, Cluster, Popul Vuh, Neu!), haunting and powerful soundtracks from the 1960s and 1970s (think Italian prog-rock Goblin and John Carpenter horror films, Morricone, and the existential spy films of John Barry), as well as a New York no wave electronic DIY style based on synthesizers and analog guitars (think Suicide, everything featured in the Soul Jazz New York Noise series, or Eno's New York No Wave)!
