Remastered and extended reissue of Toyah's 1982 Top 20 album. Originally released as a double live album in October 1982, ô¨ Warrior Rock ô£ was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London during the final two nights of the tour. The album features 15 songs centered on material from the band's top ten albums. ô¨ Anthem ô£ and ô¨ The Changeling ô£. The album is named after ô¨ Warrior Rock ô£, the B-side of Toyah's 1982 single ô¨ Brave New World ô£. The band's hit singles ô¨ It's A Mystery ô£, ô¨ I Want To Be Free ô£ and ô¨ Thunder In The Mountains ô£ all feature on the album alongside fan favorites ô¨ Ieya ô£, ô¨ Danced ô£ and ô¨ War Boys ô£. ô¨ Warrior Rock - Toyah On Tour ô£ is pressed on transparent green vinyl, echoing the stage lighting colors that are integral to the LP artwork, and also a nod to the very rare promotional green vinyl pressing from the 1980s. The album artwork has been refreshed with an updated design and vibrant color photo scanned from the negatives captured on the night and taken just moments after the shot originally used. The LP arrives in a gatefold sleeve and the gatefold interior features a previously unseen live color photograph of the full band live on stage at Hammersmith Odeon. The original backstage photos used on the 1982 pressing now feature on the two-color inner bags, which also feature even more previously unseen live color shots.
