This second album, made with the same musicians (all very well-known in Sweden), once again explores Berglund's early musical loves, rock. \"Dig It To The End\" is a truly successful new post-rock record; it consists of a series of wordless songs but whose evocative power is maintained throughout the eleven compositions with varied atmospheres and arrangements. There is notably a remarkable work on sound texture. Dan Berglund teamed up again with guitarist Johan Lindström, who had already played with him in the 1990s, even before the e.s.t. years. Lindström wrote most of the themes, which were then reworked by the band, and brings a palette of guitar sounds of uncommon richness (he has notably already made a name for himself with Elvis Costello). Dan Berglund continues his characteristic work on double bass with a bow, complemented by various effects pedals. Pianist\/multi-instrumentalist Martin Hederos (from the band The Soundtrack Of Our Life) and drummer Andreas Werliin complete the cast of this captivating Tonbruket, with very strong musical cohesion.
