Les Tit' Nassels, an atypical duo in French song for nearly 30 years, write and sing with stubborn freedom and radiant simplicity about their daily adventures or misadventures, in other words, life. Axl and Sophie have no better subject than themselves, that is to say us, and they are masters at telling little stories, slices of life rooted in everyday life with great kindness and poetry, but also sometimes with commitment. This is the case with "Les autres," the title track that deals precisely with all those people we encounter, or "La ballade des imbéciles heureux" and its call not to give in to a form of intellectual laziness, or "Hashtag," which they released on March 8 and which attacked the nauseating masculinist discourse with sharp, almost raw verses.
