The album was primarily written while on tour with O Terno, his famous indie tropicalia band. In early 2020, the new decade brought him a sense of change as he stepped back from touring and band life to focus on these new songs. The resulting work connects the cosmic dots of tropicalia and samba with contemporary indie and folk; it is a generous and intimate moment, meditations on metaphysical transformation in the face of profound uncertainty.
