With [ʁɛjɔn] - pronounced "rayonne" - TIAS invites us to seek with him the keys to our personal fulfillment. Throughout the songs on this new album, the artist from Reunion Island questions a societal issue that affects him: personal fulfillment. This quest leads him to tackle subjects that have a direct impact on our way of life, and the way in which we radiate or close in on ourselves: ecology, the evolution and place of the modern family, stress at work, isolation, love, consumption patterns, information, the paradoxes that surround us, identity, the need for recognition, self-expression... In [ʁɛjɔn], TIAS moves cursors and turns emotional potentiometers to generate new collaborations and put into words his fears and his Creole vision of the world that inspires him. [ʁɛjɔn] highlights the diversity of TIAS's influences. A fresh Afro-folk fusion that blends Reunion blues - Maloya - with the urban universe of a songwriter engaged by his lyrics and the position he holds on the new French scene. Written between Reunion and Alsace in close collaboration with Gaël Sieffert (songwriter awarded the Prix D'Stimme France Bleu 2019 for his Vostok Project) and the fruit of collaborations with talented songwriters, composers and arrangers, [ʁɛjɔn] is an album that won't leave you unscathed. The electro touch to which TIAS is no stranger plays a particularly important role on this new opus, written for the ear and the stage, touching both body and soul. Reunionese Creole, which is predominant on this album, is an invitation to travel and immerse oneself in this particularly richly imaged facet of French cultural diversity.
