Description

When electronic fury blends with classical lyricism. Thylacine, the "future classical" phenomenon (Libération) unveils eleven unique creations, between classical music and electro, accompanied by the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire and the Maîtrise des Pays de la Loire, under the direction of the multi-talented artist Uèle Lamore. After *Timeless* and his astonishing modern reinterpretation of works by classical music figures, the producer continues his exploration and flourishes by practicing instrumental music that leads him to feel much closer to the classical universe in this masterful *Thylacine (and 74 musicians)* where the Angers native succeeds in the feat of reinventing the exercise, which has been quite popular in recent years, of mixing electronic fury with classical orthodoxy. Initially, the desire was to extend the magic of *Timeless*, but by going much further, and by recording with a real orchestra and in live conditions. To develop both the electronic versions of classical tracks, and also the classical versions of some of his own emblematic pieces like *Polar* or *War Dance*, Thylacine was joined by conductor, arranger, and producer Uèle Lamore herself, who transcribed all the scores to be played by the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire and the Maîtrise des Pays de la Loire. The 74 musicians are them. The astounding result is the fruit of a live recording in Angers, at the Théâtre du Quai. A real challenge with multiple bravura pieces such as the breathtaking participation of the exuberant young violinist Luka Faulisi on *Vivaldi*, a totally hit-like reinterpretation of *Winter*, from the famous *Four Seasons*, or the captivating interlacing of world-renowned guitarist Thibault Cauvin who, on the epic *Albéniz*, delivers an increasingly energetic score as the track progresses. If the producer, now 31, often heard delighted people after his concerts declare: "usually, I don't like electronic music, but this is really different," we can be sure that this album will be an opportunity for a part of his audience (and beyond) to declare "usually I don't like classical music, but this is really different" Oh yes indeed. *Thylacine and 74 musicians*, the new event album available in double colored vinyl format and in 3-panel digisleeve CD.
