A native of South Los Angeles, STEPHEN BRUNER, aka THUNDERCAT, is a Californian bass prodigy who started playing at the age of 4, thanks to his father RONALD SR, drummer for THE TEMPTATIONS. A member of the legendary thrash band SUICIDAL TENDENCIES since he was 16, he has contributed to albums by big names in hip hop, soul, and jazz, from SNOOP DOGG to STANLEY CLARKE and ERIC BENÉT. This protégé of FLYING LOTUS, for whom he played on "Cosmogramma" and who produced this album, unveils his first solo project, "The Golden Age Of Apocalypse." The album blends an astral universe with masterful craftsmanship, serving as a logical continuation of "Cosmogramma."
