{"product_id":"ths-s-sht_vinyl_2020_lad","title":"\/\/\/ (vinyl)","description":"\"A HYBRID AND MODERN TECHNO-ROCK\". --- NOISE ---.BEYOND FRENCH-TOUCH At the crossroads of multiple musical styles from which the three musicians originate (metal, jazz, electro, math-rock), the TH\/S \/S SH\/T project is driven by the audacity to explore atypical music. This music crystallizes into a blend that is both hybrid, modern, and coherent. More precisely, their sounds are imbued with the repetition and aesthetics of electronic music, combined with the ardour of abrasive rock. And so, just like the band's name, all this material sounds like a new punk era: this is shit!\"Between Justice, Lightning Bolt, Refused and Prodigy. Energetic and determined.\" --- FERAROCK ---.This is Shit, they're right to say it. It's true but they don't produce it, quite the opposite. As a trio boosted by heavy techno-rock, they deliver something substantial on this \/\/\/, their first album after 3 EPs that had already caught attention. And it's over 10 tracks that flow and rage, carried by rough and rocky sounds, techno goddamn it, club-like, as are the sparse vocals of the opus. It grooves everywhere. Listening to it, in my dizzy head, I recall Marvin or La Jungle, also adept at this audacious mix. With This is Shit, aka TH\/S \/S SH\/T, the techno-like option prevails; it's adorned with fat riffs, the loops launch a very dense dance, and off we go for a big salvo of auditory pleasure.The eponymous \/\/\/ opens the album; spatial layers first, to lure the casual listener. \"Nightclub\" vocals, alternating between direct bursts and tempered breaks. Well-chosen, well-thought-out motifs. It has everything. We also fall in love with those voices from under the strobes, we soak up the energy put into this already enticing beginning.\"Transition 1.0\" then appears and generates a worthy follow-up. Tense guitars, agitated celestial impulses, sustained electro rhythm, and good quality sounds (common here) set the tone. Noise cracks invite themselves, and they are not unwelcome. Loïc L (guitar and synths), Xavier L (bass and synths) and Gilles D (drums) do a job that is both singular and devilishly attractive.\"Ecstasy\", which will allow everyone to last (that was an easy one), continues on the victorious path. Its guitars pound, its drums deliver bonus uppercuts. There's nothing to complain about. Between striking power and high-pitched inclinations, This is Shit messes things up and it excites the crowd.\"Transition 1.1\" plays space rock with metronomic vigour and an uncontrollable flow. We won't deny ourselves; the product here is freely accessible, we're going to gorge ourselves.\"Hemp\", with oriental voices and instruments clashing head-on, encourages us.Addiction will not be blamed, it is healthy. The keyboards, continuously pouring out their sauce, add spice. It is clear that here, TH\/S \/S SH\/T attains a new status. On stage, one can only imagine the extent of the damage. We will have to go there, in the meantime we still have half of \/\/\/ to ingest.\"Transition 1.2\" plays with notes, which will rightly earn it a good mark. It must be said that the trio's work is far from that of a dunce. Innovative, it resembles nothing of the typical student. Indeed, this track takes us up there. It's OK, let's go to another planet.Then \"Amphetamine\" - now, we're going to get caught by the patrol - without warning, acts like a narcotic. A real stimulant, which in this sonic form only produces desirable effects. At the end of the try-out, Gilles pounds and his companions support him with great joy in his beautiful deviation. \"Transition 1.3\", in the end, favors the cosmic. By then, we had already taken the bait a long time ago anyway.Thus \"Paraldehyde\", with its delicate and ethereal sounds, its usual lively pace, keeps us in our delightful wanderings. Its biting and galvanizing finale leaves us in agony. The battle, with these 3 men, knows little respite.Then \"Transition 1.4\", a short terminal salvo, delivers the final blows. And there, we are defeated. The power is detonating, the tone almost hardcore-punk, seasoning the mess of course with a techno coulis that This is Shit knows the secret of and uses, throughout its \/\/\/, with mastery.Beware ladies and gentlemen, this is solid, very very solid!","brand":"TH\/S \/S SH\/T","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55310232486232,"sku":null,"price":20200619.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/3760307140102_0373b7bd-20ee-496f-bf75-890b9d2e1d67.jpg?v=1760318786","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/ths-s-sht_vinyl_2020_lad","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
