After working in recent years with renowned producers and studio musicians in the best studios in the world, Thomas Dybdahl returns to his own studio: 1 micadventure in Stavanger. The goal was to find a fresh new sound for his new album, "FEVER." "FEVER" was produced, recorded, written, and performed by Thomas in collaboration with Håvard Rosenberg, his long-time studio partner and hip-hop producer. Thomas Dybdahl has "musician's musician" status, having been discovered by a large number of artists such as Elvis Costello, Jamie Cullum, and tastemakers like independent radio station KCRW in Los Angeles. Grammy Award-winning producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock, Tracy Chapman) was one of his early fans. Thomas has also worked as a producer, songwriter, and leader in the band The National Bank, and has played with other artists ranging from Morcheeba to French singer Melanie Pain and folk icon Judy Collins.
