Nine tracks recorded for German television in 1973 offer a fascinating glimpse into how Thin Lizzy would become one of the world's greatest rock'n'roll bands. This three-piece lineup emphasized their blues and folk roots, exemplified by two versions of the single Whiskey In The Jar. Four of the tracks included here did not appear on the studio records the band released at the time. The recording quality is very good. The LP is accompanied by full credits and detailed sleeve notes.
