In 2003, Thierry Amiel became known as a finalist in the first edition of Nouvelle Star. He captivated the audience throughout the show with his interpretations of great standards. That same year, Thierry signed with RCA, and his first single "Les Mots Bleus," a cover of Christophe's hit, quickly became a silver record. His debut album Paradoxes was certified double gold. His second self-titled album was released in 2006, featuring a more rock-oriented direction. Many composers contributed: Daniel Darc, Jean-Pierre Pilot (Alain Bashung, Brigitte Fontaine, Indochine, Zazie), Benoît Poher (Kyo), Axelle Renoir. This album achieved gold status within a month of its release. In 2010, Thierry released his third album, Où Vont Les Histoires? and a few months later, Pascal Obispo chose him to play the role of Adam in his new musical Adam et Eve: La Seconde Chance. The singer thus took on the lead male role in the show, which ran for two months at the Palais des Sports in Paris. This new album, titled Artéfact, holds many surprises in its content. More emotional, with a significant focus on the lyrics and their interpretations, Thierry Amiel reveals what he feels. He wanted to play with form and unveil a part of himself that he is not in "real life," like a metamorphosis. Thierry aims to convey the message that one can "be who they want." He offers a more pop proposal for Artéfact with energetic and striking tracks. For this new opus, as a songwriter and composer, he dares to reveal himself and step out of his comfort zone, delivering catchy songs and a strong artistic universe.
