Monk's Dream is an album by Thelonious Monk Quartet released in 1962. It is the best-selling album of Thelonious Monk's career. "Bright Mississippi" is the only composition on the album that Monk had not yet recorded. "Bolivar Blues" was originally titled "Ba-lue Bolivar Ba-lues-are" and appeared on the 1957 album, Brilliant Corners. "Five Spot Blues" was titled "Blues Five Spot" and appeared for the first time on the album Misterioso, while "Monk's Dream", "Bye-Ya", and "Sweet And Lovely" were recorded during a session for Prestige ten years earlier.
