The Milkshakes are a British garage rock band from Chatham. They were formed in 1980 by Billy Childish. Like the other bands created by this artist (Thee Mighty Caesars, Thee Headcoats, etc.), the Milkshakes are one of the flagship groups of the English garage revival of the 1980s, alongside The Cannibals, The Stingrays, and The Prisoners. From the grating opening of "SEVEN DAYS" to the final chords of "WO' NOW," the relentless rhythm continues. Even the most subdued tracks bear the unmistakable mark of the MILKSHAKES, making THE MILKSHAKES the undisputed leaders of world beat! After the imaginary international success of their first album "Talking Bout_" and the 45 RPM single "It's You" c/w "Please Don't Tell My Baby," the Milkshakes decided to spend the little money they had left to record another album. The result was a Garage album with clever titles.
