This 40th-anniversary reissue includes rare live versions of My Generation, I Can't Explain, and I Can See For Miles. Quadrophenia: An adaptation of the Rock Opera of the same name released in 1973, this soundtrack and the Franc Roddam film from which it is taken will resonate in ears and hearts as an anthem to the modernist movement. Vespas, Northern Soul, and English subculture are celebrated in the film, and tracks composed by Pete Townshend clash with classics by James Brown, Booker T & The Mg's, Kingsmen, or The Ronettes to accompany this classic. This anniversary reissue includes 3 tracks that were not in the original 1973 release of the Opera (Get Out & Stay Out, Four Faces, and Joker James).
