The bold and eclectic group The Voidz returns with their third album, Like All Before You!After his success with The Strokes, Julian Casablancas launched a new musical adventure in 2014 with The Voidz, a band that embodies his vision of bold and eclectic music, designed for the general public while challenging conventional norms. The Voidz formed when Julian met Alex Carapetis (drums), Jeff Kite (keyboards), and Jake Bercovici (bass/keyboards) during his solo tour in 2010. The group later expanded with the addition of Beardo (guitar) and Amir Yagmai (guitar). Their shared love for underground music, jazz, hip-hop, and influences from around the world shaped their unique sound, fusing and transforming genres.With their first two albums, Tyranny (2014) and Virtue (2018), The Voidz attracted a dedicated fanbase and earned critical recognition. Their upcoming album, Like All Before You, promises to continue surprising with a blend of beauty and roughness, produced with renowned producers like Ivan Wayman and Justin Raisen.The promotion of "Like All Before You" will take place throughout fall 2024 and 2025, with a series of concerts and special events. The band's arrival is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, with a participation in the Inrocks festival and an appearance on the Inrocks compilation in October.
