These concerts are described by the specialized magazine Back Door Man as the "greatest rock concerts of all time"! Shortly after the release of the album Raw Power, Mainman – the agency managing the band – opened Mainman West, an office in Los Angeles. The Stooges, back from England, decided to follow suit and moved to L.A., where they practiced their craft five days a week. A series of performances (five times two concerts) was, by chance, recorded. These performances are described by the specialized magazine Back Door Man as the "greatest rock concerts of all time"! It is one of these historic moments that is featured here, with, as a bonus, "She Creatures of Hollywood Hills", which The Stooges seem to have performed only once!
