The Residents are back with a brand new EP: six new tracks that extend the legacy of their masterpiece 'Eskimo'! Unreleased recordings inspired by original folk tales passed to the group by the mysterious N. Senada. Includes the texts of the stories as well as the bonus track "The Arctic Fox." In the 1970s, while The Residents were working on their masterpiece 'Eskimo', their mentor, the mysterious N. Senada, sent them a series of handwritten Inuit folk tales, suggesting they incorporate them into the album. However, the group set these texts aside - already having abundant material - and let them sleep in the archives. Today, nearly 50 years later, The Residents are bringing these tales back to life as part of their upcoming stage show dedicated to 'Eskimo'. They blend familiar elements from the original album with new compositions to create a show destined to become a classic. We present here the studio recording of these new tracks, accompanied by the narrative texts as Senada had recorded them nearly half a century ago. This is not just a simple variant of 'Eskimo', but a modern interpretation of material that, in another universe, could have appeared on the original album.
