This edition features the original album on LP 1, remastered in 2025 from the original analog stereo tapes, accompanied on LP 2 by rare and unreleased studio outtakes, as well as Paul Westerberg's home demos. LPs 3 and 4 deliver a complete, unreleased, high-energy live performance recorded in March 1984 at Chicago's Cubby Bear. Released in October 1984, Let It Be is a pivotal record in the history of The Replacements and one of the best US alternative rock albums of the 80s. Paul Westerberg, Bob Stinson, Tommy Stinson, and Chris Mars had reached a new musical milestone at the time with tracks like "I Will Dare," "Androgynous," and "Unsatisfied."
