Red marbled double vinyl 40th anniversary - Limited edition. Released on August 5, 1985, "Rum Sodomy & The Lash" is one of The Pogues' flagship albums, led by Shane MacGowan, at the crossroads of traditional folk and punk. This album, on vinyl 1, notably contains some of MacGowan's strongest tracks ("The Old Main Drag", "A Pair Of Brown Eyes", "Sally MacLennane"), as well as legendary covers ("Dirty Old Town", "And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda"). In addition, this edition offers on vinyl 2 numerous bonuses, including B-sides ("The Parting Glass", "A Pistol For Paddy Garcia"), the EP "The Poguetry In Motion", BBC Radio 1 Janice Long sessions from 1985, and live tracks from Barrowland in Glasgow in 1987.
