This is the second album from Mike Donovan's band, formed after his 2013 Sic Alps project, featuring members of The Fresh & Onlys and Thee Oh Sees, among others. Hailing from San Francisco, where the new American garage scene thrives, The Peacers adhere to local codes, showcasing a lo-fi sound and a slightly gritty fuzz. They elevate the West Coast legacy by drawing on rich collaborations with other musicians like Ty Segall, who produced their first album, Peacers (2015).
