The Jamaican musical group The Maytals can be considered one of the most well-known and important ska and rocksteady bands of all time. Frontman Toots Hibbert wrote an impressive catalog of songs during his time in prison, and after serving his sentence, he reunited with his bandmates and entered the studio with the brilliant producer Leslie Kong.
