That coffee-colored Telecaster is still getting beat up, just to cure it. Look closely at the guitar if you can. Or just listen more closely. The band is locked in. The Russo is rockin’. You could marinate meat in Hemminger’s tone. The player has arms like a government clock. We are all disgusted. We are waking up to a world that is moving, aging, and cracking. Put this record on, man. Start Making Sense is a survival kit for modern life, full of horn charts and hot-dog choruses. It's gonna be okay. Or you’ll do the dishes, at least.
