Le Jaded Hearts Club is a new group of prestigious British rock musicians led by Miles Kane (The Last Shadow Puppets) and Nic Cester (Jet), with guitarists Graham Coxon (Blur) and Jamie Davis, plus Matt Bellamy (Muse) on bass and drummer Sean Payne (The Zutons). The group was formed in 2017 when Jamie Davis wanted to hire a Beatles cover band for his birthday. The cost was prohibitive and the available bands lacked energy. Davis devised a backup plan. The supergroup presents You've Always Been Here, an album in the style of the Beatles' Cavern Club period. Bellamy (Muse) and Davis sifted through hundreds of songs to determine what they would record for the album. The first taste of this project (with Miles Kane on vocals) is a thick rock version of "Nobody But Me," the 1962 Northern Soul classic by the Isley Brothers, but recorded in the spirit of the cult cover by the Human Beinz in 1968.
