The Portland duo recorded their album in a month in an old warehouse. With the idea of producing as much music as possible, they started experimenting and capturing guitar riffs, synth loops, drum bases, etc. Once this was done, THE HELIO SEQUENCE members shared the 26 tracks they had composed with friends, family, and even fans, asking them to select their ten favorite songs. These ten treasures from the band appear on their new self-titled album, so named because it is a kind of rebirth. The album is a new step for this duo, which has been around for almost twenty years now.
