The album was mastered by Andy Pearce and illustrated by Becky Stewart; a color vinyl version is also offered in a limited edition. The Fall was an English post-punk band formed in Manchester in 1976. The band has endured in various forms since its inception, primarily revolving around its founder and only permanent member, Mark E. Smith. Initially associated with the punk movement of the late 1970s, the band saw its music stylistically evolve over the years, while often maintaining an abrasive sound dominated by guitar and a frequent use of repetition, all supported by Smith's distinctive voice and often enigmatic lyrics.
