Recorded almost live in two weeks, 'Victory...' demonstrates Neil Hannon's boundless creativity and his talent for observation and storytelling. The fantastic track 'A Lady Of A Certain Age' is a perfect illustration of this. The CD edition includes 2 discs: the remastered album and a second CD of bonus tracks (B-sides, demos, and alternate takes chosen by Neil Hannon – most of which are completely unreleased). The CD comes with a booklet of photos and notes written by Neil, discussing the context and inspirations behind this album and these tracks. The LP edition includes the remastered original album with a download code for the album and bonus tracks. The LP is a heavyweight black gatefold with photos, credits, and notes from Neil.
