The re-release of "Liberation" to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary! Liberation is the band's first album, released in 1993. While not a commercial success, it was a critical one. Melody Maker called Neil a genius in its review at the time. The CD edition includes 2 discs: the remastered album and a second CD of bonus tracks (B-sides, demos, and alternate takes chosen by Neil Hannon – most of which are completely unreleased). The CD comes with a booklet of photos and notes written by Neil that discuss the context and inspirations behind this album and its songs. The LP edition includes the original remastered album with a download code for the album and bonus tracks.
